I am pleased to learn that Flemington Council is “looking” to return to in-person meetings. As indoor gathering capacity limits are lifted along with mask mandates for vaccinated individuals there is absolutely no reason not to do so.
During the past year, Flemington Borough’s Mayor and Democratic controlled Council have chosen to hide behind Facebook or Zoom meetings thereby, limiting taxpayers and residents ability to confront elected officials in-person. Suffice to say, this is not their promised transparency.
It is now time for Council to immediately “announce” an official reopening.
